About Us
Brent McFarland has been involved in the design and building of homes since before he graduated from high school. He began his career in construction working as an apprentice draftsman for an architectural firm, where he learned the first steps of the building process. He gained experience working with the AutoCAD drafting program, which contributed to his knowledge of leading drafting applications today. From that starting point he then continued to learn trade after trade, through the construction of custom, multi- million dollar estate homes while he worked as a carpenter in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. Through the years, Brent has been a carpenter, supervisor, estimator, property manager, contracts administrator, and project manager.
Brent is well versed on the entire construction process, whether it is a commercial tenant-improvement or a residential remodel. He has experience in constructing over 100 custom homes, with heavy involvement in job estimation, permit preparation and submittal. With his extensive knowledge of the computer drafting programs, he has the ability to aid his clients in the design and plans process, and draw up county plans for submittal.
McFarland Construction, Inc. began with Brent's desire to lead his own projects, and ultimately, run his own construction business. The company began in 2006, and has been running at full- speed ever since. We strive to create spaces for our clients that are unique, warm and inviting-- whether in an office environment or home.
